internal NTFS partiton help
#1
OK, i have searched and not found an answer to my problem, although have found similar threads.

so here goes.

ive now set myself up with a nice new media center, i have an internal 750 gig hdd, i have got my file system layed out as such.

xbmc fat 32 part
linux swap
ext3

NTFS 650 gig partition

ive done this by cloning a smaller hdd that had my original xbmc live linux install onto it.

the system loads up and is perfect except i cannto see my NTFS partition, i have tried a few things in other threads i have found, but am unable to `mount` it?

bit of a linux newb, but does anyone know if this is possible? i just want to automount my ntfs partition where all my alread 90% filled videos / photos are etc etc

or would an ubuntu install > xbmc option be better?

thanks for any help

all auto mounts now, got my sounds saved (volume levels), xbox 1 remote all sorted, just sort my LCD out and jobs a goodun Big Grin)

EDIT : the only real bit i had to do different, was instead of using the "Gedit" command, i had to use "nano" instead, as gedit inst included in xbmclive Big Grin
