XBMC Live and 1080p
#1
I'm thinking about building a computer to only run xbmc off a CF drive. Is it feasible to think this will handle decoding full 1080p files?

Can anyone suggest a cheap setup that would handle this?

Also... would like suggestions for an xbmc live build that doesn't need to deal with 1080p.

You might want to ask in the XBMC Live support forum as those folks will be most aware which hardware is best supported out of the box on that distro. Hopefully it will be picking up support for the new ASUS board I've just tried - that would be pretty awesome as it's a good board. However right now that board isn't supported by Live. <shrug>
