i need some help with a htpc hardware
I wanna watch 1080p (.mkv) movies and xvid movies..

mainboard: ASUS P5Q-EM
cpu: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500

is the "ASUS P5Q-EM" support in the lastes xbmc live version ?

i still need an extra gfx card for 1080p playback ? or is the Intel GMA X4500HD
onboard chip okay ?

This is the Live! support forum. Live is a bootable CD that allows you to play with XBMC without loading it onto an HDD or doing too much work. If you have that hardware have you tried simply loading up the CD to get some answers? Or is that proposed hardware and you've not read any of the other dozens of hardware threads or searched?

i just want to know if the ASUS P5Q-EM works with xbmc live so i will buy this mainboard..
i only found infos from 2-3 months ago..
