YES! youre the reason for stuffing a dvb card in my linux media server ... im searching for ages for a solution since my linux machine is on 24/7.
as frontend im using xbmc on a xp box.... will report back if ill get it up and running on windows! thanks a bunch .. |

Mason, I tried (albeit very quickly) last night and it got to 'stage 2' of the running the script under windows then complained about missing msvcrt iirc - I'm going to take another look at this later, but if you do have any luck under Windows please update us

would do .. right now im struggeling with mythtv and my dvbs card ... since i had it running unter win so far. mythv is up an running, but the integration of my card seems to be the problem right now.
btw, why is this threat in the skinning sektion? |

I am also trying the mythbox on a windows system (xp)
I get the 2No module named msvcrt" Hope someone has an idea. Like to use primary xbmc with the mythbackend. Linux with mythtv is some how not working well on newer systems as frontend. |

Regarding the msvcrt module not being found, it looks like the python packaged with xbmc for windows is missing this built-in module for some reason. I'll hit the devs up and see I can find out anything.
