By default it's set to DHCP and does aquire an IP address when plugged into my router. However, -Assignment is greyed out so I can't change from DHCP.
Any ideas?

I just came across this myself. I changed them by ssh'ing in (you could just "exit" and get to a command prompt that way) and editing the /etc/network/interfaces file. There are both dhcp and static entries there, just comment out the dchp line and uncomment the static lines. Then you can change the numbers to whatever you need.
Hope this helps!
