I dont know about jn13, but XBMC will not run on my Windows 7 box at all.
In Windows I get:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: XBMC.exe
Application Version: 2.1.0.0
Application Timestamp: 49690933
Fault Module Name: StackHash_4a6c
Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 00000000

But my xbmc.log is perfectly normal.
The last line is NOTICE: C:\Users\Goku\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\sources.xml

Windows 7 build 7000 x64
2GB Ram
Intel Core2Quad 2.4ghz
Intel G33 Driver Version 8.15.10.1590
XBMC Rev16991/17000

I think I got all the info you need, byt if I missed something, Let me know.

BTW XBMC Works Perfectly with this exact computer and parts in Vista, but not in Windows 7.

goto the intel website, download the latest VISTA gfx drivers and install them (you have to run them in comp. mode set to vista) and it will work.
the intel drivers microsoft has inside windows 7 don't work properly

You my friend are a true GENIUS. I had thought about trying that, but whenever I tried to install the drivers straight from intel, it would tell me that the ones installed are the newer than intels, so I just ignored it.

Thank You so much. Im actually considering making Windows 7 my Main OS, this was the only thing that was keeping me back.

BTW Windows 7 WAAAAAAY Better than Vista (so far) Smile

get the video drivers from ATI (the vista ones) try those instead of the windows update ones...this might be the same problem as intel is having on win7

Although XBMC works for me, my Windows Experience Index Rating went all the way down to 3.1 for both graphics and gaming graphics.

Intel better get with the program and get some better drivers
