Some Videos don't play right (wrong FPS, audio sync, stuttering)
#1
here are two examples of videos that never played fine in XBMC, tried many builds it just never plays the way it supposed to.

High-res WMV (Vader - Sword of the Witcher)
http://www.nekrosoft.net/video1.wmv

High-res Interlaced TS (satellite RIP) - Pussycat Dolls.
http://www.nekrosoft.net/testvideo2.rar

720p 40mbits 60FPS TS stream, a lot of dropped frames - Nicole Scherzinger live
http://www.nekrosoft.net/testvideo3.rar

maybe some dev can download these files and fix the playback issues.

edit: first file works, need to re-upload the other two, for some reason can't download .ts, will re-upload in rar.
edit2: upload of files should be done around 7am CST

Well I can just say how much I love Vader. Great guys (RIP Doc). Worked with them a couple times doing sound ... hung out with Mouser all day. Seen them live numerous times. Anyways...

That video is a VC1 WMV. Im suprised XBMC even gets any sound with it at all. WMVs are iffy. And your ts video is 1.6k. Not sure what you are expecting from it.

with 96 posts, you should know better how to report a problem.
if you want the dev's to look at it, post it like the sticky says,

Jester, reason i'm providing those files because the best way to fix something like this is to have the actual file to test.

here is the debug log as well, three files where played
two that are hosted here,
and third a 780mb 60fps stream

http://pastebin.com/f439d90f0

I would like to add that all 3 files play fine in WMP11 (with ffdshow), in media center and powerDVD ultra.

But w/o a full debug log it's very unlikely a single dev will touch it.
It's amazing how 80% of reports ignore that mandatory requirement.
If people only understood the basic info a debug log gives the person looking at the problem. (Such as build date / revision which another 90% leave out, and no, latest is not a verison of anything).
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

debug log is posted above your post, current build I have installed is 17003

and I have been testing these videos in XBMC since early beta 2, and updating XBMC every week or so.

are you using digital sound output? In that first video I get frame rate dropping from 25FPS to low 13-17, then it plays fine for few seconds, audio starts stuttering
