[RELEASE] tvalacarta - new plugin based on XOT-UZG for Spanish TV sites

Hello,

I am working in the addition of new channels for spanish TV sites to the great XOT-UZG plugin.

Currently i have support for several sites, and still there are more coming soon:

Andalucia TV
TVE
Barcelona TV
Antena 3
Extremadura TV
La Sexta
TV3
TVG
TV Mallorca
Canal Plus TV

You can see the details on my blog, and access the files on a Google Code Repository.

This project never reached this point without the existence of XOT-UZG. Thanks go to Basje as the original author of the framework.

Hi,

I added yesterday TVE to videomonkey I can remove it if you want the exclusivity of this site (May be it is good for spreading your plugin :nerd You can use the regexes in tve.es.cfg (but take care of the backslashes). They also scrape date, time, etc... of the videos

Videomonkey is a great plugin, but i started with XOT-UZG because it is a script also.

When i have finished with the spanish sites, one thing i have planned is to add all of them as channels for Videomonkey too.

The problem is, remember my post, that i will need some help or a tutorial in your configuration files... I have little python experience.

I think not a lot of time will elapse until watching justin.tv in xbmc See this and this.

As the official author of XOT, I would like to point out some things:

• It would be better to just host the channels and....
• ...Let the users download the XOT Framework from the GoogleCode Site of XOT. This way, all possible problems (like the replacement of special characters) can be solved in the framework and can then be used again for your channels. That way the framework will be better.
• Even better. Let me host the channels, that way the auto update will also work.
• At least mention the fact that you are using other persons scripts
• Your channels do not have a GUID. This will become a problem with the final 3.2.0 version of XOT.
• Try PNG without a background that will look better then the white background
