How to clear lcd on antecMF350 when idle
#1
Hello,

I have a antec microfusion 350.
When xmbc is launched, it displays informations : fine.

But before and after xbmc, when there is nothing to display, the lcd displays messages from LCDproc : not good.
Worst, when PC is down, the lcd displays the last message forever.

How to tell the lcd driver not to display anything ?
Or, at least, clear the display at shutdown ?

Regards.

JP

The clearing is probably something XBMC should do, the lcdproc messages I have no clue about but Im guessing its hidden in lcdproc configurations.

Please post a feature request on trac about the clearing.

Cheers,
Tobias

There is a GoodBye message in LCDd.conf.

You need to delete the contents of the GoodBye message.

Instead of something like GoodBye="GoodBye" it should be GoodBye=""
