Not sure if I have the right protocol here for making a feature request. First I'll say this is a wonderful addon. I have one problem - in the program listings, like 95% of the entries are short clips. Would it be possible to add a filter to just list whole episodes?

There are some 30 sec to 2min+ previews, 1-10min clips, and 30-90min episodes. I can add a setting to filter out videos based on duration times or a sort method for duration times. For now, you could just view the items in list view so you can see the duration of each video *screenshot*. btw, make sure you are using v1.0.4 of the PBS addon.

It's unfortunate if there's no way to distinguish between full episodes and clips. I noticed that American Experience, for example, shows 45 full episodes, 31 previews and 256 clips on the pbs web site. This makes it pretty hard to sift thru the list to find full episodes w/o some ability to sort them. An option to sort by running time (longest first) would be nice. |

Hi, I can't get any videos to play using this script...
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10, not sure what else is relevant... Snippet from ~/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log Code: 13:32:15 T:2685389680 M:3290861568 NOTICE: -->Python Interpreter Initialized<--I'm not sure if I'm missing a dependency or what =/ Let me know if there's any additional information needed for debug. |

I believe the PBS website is limited to the US. Try playing this: http://video.pbs.org/video/1972939471 I tested this same video on my computer and it works fine. |

I can view PBS videos fine via the iPad app and in my computer's web browser, and I am in the US.
I did another quick test, with debugging enabled, the following is all of the log data generated from browsing into the PBS app to trying to play something. http://pastebin.com/cPRCvRzC |

I ended up resolving the issue by whitelisting outgoing connections on the RTMP port (1935) *dopeslap*

Man this is a pretty great thing to have. Masterpiece Theater from the comfort of my couch with a remote.
Now if only my internet connection wasn't terrible (3mbps) and caused the video to buffer every 10 minutes. Shame PBS doesn't let you select bandwidth, its weird too because I can stream Giant Bomb and Netflix just fine.

Any reason why PBS add-on is now missing from the official xbmc add-on list. When I go to system->add-on->get add-ons->XBMC.org add-ons->Video add-ons this is missing. I am also missing a couple of other add-ons.
FYI, I am using eden-pre build.
