I tried almost all possible combinations and tricks on this forums and on ubuntu's .. nothing works. Im on ubuntu 8.10, but also tried all solutions on 8.04.. none worked, always segmentation error ?! And I know, my next card is going to be an nVidia, but right now i'm trying to get this machine that i have to work Smile

I've used this card in my old PC (when I was testing very early builds of XBMC for Linux).

As ATI dropped support for the 9250 in their FGLRX driver, the only option is to use the XORG driver, Which I did and it worked great.

Do you have a full featured ubuntu install?

Yes, 8.10 installed. Will happen to have a guide or some steps to follow to do this. Im not so good with linux.
