So I have sound working great. I get AC3 passthrough, I get good quality sound on non-AC3 videos and music, and DVD playback works great. One problem, however, is that when watching a DVD (in this case, Friends Season 3), the player unilaterally fast forwards the last 5-10 seconds of every episode. We'll be watching the DVD with no problem, then a few seconds from the end, the sound cuts out and the video playback speeds up. When it begins the next episode or returns to the menu, normal operation is restored.
