Hi!

I'm having problems with my movies that I have stored on an external harddrive (M.
If I add this drive letter as a source, I can view the directories and movies in file mode, but it never indexes the movies and gets the information from IMDB even though i've set the content to Movies and checked both "Run automated scan" and "Scan recursively".

It works fine if i add a directory on my local harddrive (C.

Any ideas?

What happens if you, under file mode, select that source and, through, the context menu, ask for "scan for updated content" or something similar (I don't have XBMC in front of me, sorry)?

That option doesn't show for that source if I add the external drive to it! That's the strange part!

Tried on another computer with the same drive, same problem.
Tried with a different drive and that works! Is there any requirements on the external drive for it to work in XBMC?

Any ideas on why XBMC doesn't want to index my movies on an external drive on my computer, but does it on others?
