[Apple TV] XBMC won't read sources.xml file in userdata folder
#1
Hi everyone,

I just bought an Apple TV and put XBMC on it. I'm a long time XBMC user on the XBox and am really excited to get it working on the Apple TV.

The problem I am having is this. After I transfer configuration files into the userdata folder on the Apple TV they are not being "picked up" by XBMC. I used cyberduck to transfer them to the frontrow user folder and then used terminal to sudo move them to the userdata folder. I know that I'm doing this properly because I did it with my xTV skin and that works perfectly. The files I am specifically trying to get working are;

Keymap.xml
Sources.xml
AdvancedSettings.xml

If someone could please tell me why these files are not being read by XBMC I would be appreciative.

I found a solution to my problem.

I was putting the data in the old userdata folder in the XBMC.app location when I should have been using the users/frontrow/application support folder.

Everything is loading now except for my keymap.xml.
