Stream Internet Video from .NSC files?

i'm trying to access an internet tv station that is delivered in singapore, via starhub cable, using a .nsc file.
my research tells me that this is a netshow or windows media station file.
my strm file looks like this
"http://www.starhub.com/hubvillage/hubbingservices/iview/config/ftv.nsc"

i can use windows media player and open a url with the address above and it plays fine... but xbmc can't play it.

i can't seem to find any kind of raw stream behind it, but perhaps i'm lacking techniques.

opening the url with notepad, gives me the following;

[address]

now - this stream seems to be locked in some way to the mac address of my home router, so it won't play in the office, but it does play with all the pc's on my lan at home.

anyone got any suggestions..
ps - this is a fashion tv stream.. easy to get hot babes in skimpy clothings, yet with high waf (wife acceptance factor)

from what i gather .nsc is not a media container (lime wmv, avi, etc.) but like .asx only directs/describes the station to the player? or?
(still, the same goes with it as codecs, please get mplayer to implement it first => http://www.xboxmediaplayer.de/cgi-bin....;t=1921)
