KevinSartori Wrote:Okay, I created the folder F:/Video on my Xbox and then added it as a video source. I saw there was another update to ESPN Video, so I deleted the ESPN Video folder and reinstalled it using SVN Repo Installer. Hit the Default button and enabled the Download and Play Video option in the Plugin Settings and the pointed to the F:/Video folder. I'm still getting the same error:

Sry, I have no idea. It's working find on my xbox and pc. I recreated what you said and it works.

I even re-installed my xbmc, deleted all my settings etc, and still got it to work.

btw, my build: T3CH XBMC 2009-03-04 SVN rev18221

Maybe it's the build I'm using. The one I use I grab from TPB and is put together by Bird42. I'll have to try the next T3CH build when it comes out...

So this plugin doesn't work in linux? I tried this and the National Geographic and many others, and xbmc just crashes when I click on a streaming link.

It should be streaming fine on all platforms. I still haven't got around to install xbmc on linux yet, so I don't know. post a debug log.

I've tried streaming and downloading and then playing. Streaming results in crashing xbmc (quits)...downloading results in the flv being downloading, but nothing happens - it doesn't play and file is left on hdd.

Also, only my remote smb shares show up during the setting up of download locations - I'd like to choose a local hdd folder. I can't seem to navigate to a local disk to select a folder.

Here is the log of trying to play a stream and the last line is all that is left after xbmc quits.

The streaming should be working. Update the plugin and use the default settings. The Download and Play is kinda buggy and doesn't always work. When it does work, you need to set the download directory to one of your video sources.

btw, I tried it on ubuntu with xbmc 8.10
