I've been having some problems recently with most of the plugins, which you can supply username and password with. For some reason XBMC does not save them in UserData/_plugin_name_/settings.xml
Easy thing to test.. just go again to the plugin settings and check if your settings are visible there.. if not, manually edit settings.xml in the userdata/_plugin_name_/ and change it accordingly

Don't know the answer for the HD=HQ question, sorry Wink

Thanks Nuka. Did you just update it now? I installed it about 10 hours ago. Do I need to delete the plugin and install again? Or does it actually upgrade through te SVN installer?

Also are you able to tell me why the search results are not at all accurate or similar to what youtube's regular HTML site generates?

Also how do I get to my favorites that I've added?

Does this plugin support YouTube subscriptions? I have a few subscriptions that I added using the YouTube website. I see that I can enter my YouTube credentials into this plugin and it will pull up Favorites that I tag on the YouTube website but I don't see my subscriptions. I am using this on XBOX btw.

I searched for "YouTube plugin subscriptions" and variations on those words but I did not find any answers.

This is not a complaint or a feature request.

Hi

Is anyone else having the issue that the videos stream fine for approximately streams fine for 7 minutes then the video fails?

Im using the latest download for the plugin, and the latest release of xbmc on xbox. It has failed on previous builds to.

Does anyone having the working properly? If so what builds are you using etc.

Installed this plugin on XBMC linux. When going to video section of xbmc and then starting the plugin, it starts and freezes, XBMC does not react to anything anymore, I have to reset computer. Why?

Hey - plugin works great for me - only issue is search results. Can we have the results sorted by relevance like the default results on youtube?

Instead of resetting your machine when it freezes simply hit CTRL-ALT-F1 and log in to the terminal... After that type killall -9 xbmc.bin and it should close it... Hit CTRL-ALT-F7 to go back to X (GUI Display) and start over...

I'm using XBCM 9.11 under Linux (Gentoo).

When I start anything in YouTube plugin I've got an error: "No module named YoutubeClient" - like below. What can be wrong?
Is the XBMC revision issue important?

Just read this thread and no one answered the question on “YouTube subscriptions support”? I have the scrip running and I’m logged in so I can see my favourites but I can’t seem to find anything on my YouTube subscriptions.

thanks ppic, i added a string. so i'll wait for an update. and it might be better to upload the strings somewhere and link here. encoding may get screwed up posting them here.

a note about subscriptions, only one page will show. i will change this later. not for a while though

any bugs that are linux specific are problems with linux. i can't test linux. maybe post a trac ticket.
