i hate it when watching a movie and i fast forward or rewind, but msot improtantly pause it, and the OSD shows up to tell me how much of a movie is left. the plot i can ignore and avoid reading, thumbnail i can ignore, but the progress bar takes a split second to glance at and cannot be ignored. can we have a feature in mediastream to not show the OSD when pause, rewind, or forward is pressed, and if someone wants to access the osd then, they can jsut press menu. or at the very least, to have an option that when the osd shows up the default view is the plot view, and not the progress bar, and then one can access progress bar area with menu key (apple remote), or whatever alternative menu key is mapped to.
