Adding Video Bookmarks to a playlist?

is it possible to add video bookmarks to a playlist
so then i can auto repeat play my sons favourite parts of a video automatically
and save me loads of time and nagging:p

Not currently, no.

One idea might be some sort of "chapter" listing mode, though I'm not sure how it would be done from a UI perspective. You could get them to start at the appropriate place easily enough with this, but it wouldn't stop at the "end" of the chapter, as there's currently no way to do that. It would have to work similar to .cue sheets (for music) and check whether the next part is a continuation, and (if so) just continue. You could probably start with just taking the .cue sheet code and make it work for videos. It may work already if you add .cue as a video extension?

Another idea is to setup an EDL cutlist for the video in question - it's a manual process, but might give you what you want (you'd lose the ability to play the whole thing though I guess).
