How to get dts/ac3 compressed sound output over spdif/coax working

It was quite simple once I realized how to fix it. First off, follow the guide here:

http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=HOW-TO:_Inst...ep-by-step

Once that is done, change the audio hardware settings to use default instead of iec958. That should then allow it to output the dts/ac3 sound track over spdif/coax without any trouble. The default configuration of using iec958 does not work.

The following bug however comes up. If you are watching a video with dts/ac3 sound over spdif/coax and then get to the end of it or press the stop button, then try to navigate the gui, the navigation sounds will not work. But after waiting 30 seconds to 1 minute, then they will work. So not a big deal, but I've submitted it, so hopefully it gets fixed by the next release.

Anyway, it's the same on S/PDIF optical as well...
