Hey all,

I use XBMC in my dorm room, and I love it. My family's home theater has a HTPC running Ubuntu 8.10, which I think XBMC would be perfect on. I'm aware of a TivoX script which enables functionality with Tivo. However, my family also owns a Dish HD DVR that they use extensively. Is there any way to see the content on the DVR from XBMC?

Welcome to the forums.

AFAIK there is no API into the Dish DVR devices. They keep claiming they're going to do something other than play big brother with the ethernet port, but so far nothing has come of it.
