Playing DVD's so fast problem
#1
Hi everybody, I have XBMC 8.10 running in a Linux Ubuntu 8.10, My problem is when I want to play a DVD this is playing so fast.

This problem is only when I am running XBMC with a normal user account, when I am running with root I don't have those problems.

I don't think it's a sound problem because I can play music, altough mi xbmc log have a suspect error "ERROR: CALSADirectSound - pcm_open_lconf, alsa error: No such file or directory"

I have tried with:

export SDL_AUDIODRIVER=ALSA
export XBMC_AUDIODEV=spdif

but I don't have results

My XBMC log is here: http://pastebin.com/f1a491f1a
My amixer output is here: http://pastebin.com/f33b07a39

You could just revive your old thread...

http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...t=dvd+fast

Please don't double post and clutter up the forum with extra posts. There is enough to read as is.

Are you sure that's the FULL debug log? It seems to me a little short.
