An Interview with DJH
#16
jmarshall for one, maybe skunkm0nkee or someone from MediaStream, I know they are on a development hold but it would be neat to hear from them. spiff and Gamester17, they seem to be pretty active and it would be neat to hear from them on XBMC development. Thanks for even thinking about it!

I agree, those are the names i would have thought of. I am especially interested in hearing more about jmarshall - I am from New Zealand and I undertand jmarshall is too. I find it fascinating that someone so influential on XBMC can come from our country (we're so small after all!)

Maybe not until the contribution happens, but CapnBry might be a cool interview.

Awesome job! This is the only interview I've seen with DJH, I'm very confident about stark after reading this. It sounds like he has pure reasons for getting into and maintaining his affair with XBMC skinning.

The comment that was made about how us htpc users here spend more time fixing it up then actually watching movies was great. I thankfully can say that's not my case personally. I've learned to slow down a bit with "prettying" up my GUI, and just letting it look decent. Until, someone else with talent/vision is kind enough to share with the rest of us. Rolleyes

Oh wow! I didn't realize the project founder was still around. I'd be very curious to hear his take on XBMC, the whole split with MediaPortal, and just about anything else.

runtime is not the one that split with mediaportal, see:

Yeah, I know that Frodo was the guy who moved on to mediaportal. I mean I'd be curious to hear Runtime's take on that time.
