They don't need to close all 558 tickets to get to the milestone (well they might resolve them by deferring, but not fixing). Atlantis had tons of bugs still open when it was released.

We haven't even started looking at the tracker. Once we do, the number will drop dramatically as:
1. All outstanding feature requests are bumped to the future.
2. All invalid reports are closed.
3. Anything else we don't want to do are bumped to the future.
I expect this will happen sometime in the first half of March.
