current svn plays DVD but crashes on audio CD

can you extract a track and post it somewhere. Would need the raw, untranscoded track. Does not need to be the entire track, just enough to cause the crash.

So, the wav-file from the first track of the morcheeba-audio cd, that crashes xbmc would be ok?

This has to do with ffmpeg detecting some tracks as AAC.

Most likely due to the ffmpeg upgrade that went in somewhat recently.

At least that's my guess.

I challenged my DSL connection and my mailserver - and failed.
It's too much for my mail server.

I split the file now.

Thank you for the support.

As Davilla told me I tried to get the current svn running, but failed. Download, compilation and installation works, but xbmc doesn't get started anymore. Have to look into that and need some sleep - so maybe will report back not until tomorrow.

Edit: I checked my /var/tmp/xbmc-xbmc.log and found some errors.

Edit2: just typing "startx" from a terminal screen now started X and xbmc.
The good thing: it plays my Morcheeba audio CD that crashed xbmc before :-)
no bad - I had to select "fullscreen" in the xbmc display settings :-) (The bad: xbmc runs not fullscreen. My tiny 7" TFT should run @1280x720 and xbmc did use the full screen before...)
