I was wondering why php scripts?

Also, I found a link you the pages here where some scripts are at, can that be accessed through ftp?

Is there a copyright reason the scripts aren't automatically downloaded to XBMC, or has it just not been programmed?

Does the x-box use C++ as in g++, MFC or even .Net?
