core dumb on boot
#1
Hi

since the last update does the XBMC write core dumbs. Sometimes the whole system even hangs up on it.
i installed XBMC on top of xubuntu. The strange thing is that 90% of the time the system works just fine even though it wrote the dumb.

can somebody point me in a direction what is not set up right on my system?

thanks

Follow the link blkmgk provided. You haven't given enough info to even begin debugging. A complete guess would be that you don't have proper 3d support or you're running with <24bit color depth.

thanks althekiller

it was the 24 bit setting. I just installed xbmc on top of a mythbuntu system. I thought all settings would be fine for xbmc.

To the rest I will try not to be to funny anymore with dumbs... and thanks for the link next post will be complete
