It looks too smooth to be a simple digital control system. Possibly mouse or analogue-driven. Anyway, the quality of the animation with such a large number of thumbnails is the thing that stands out for me.

Quite a few videos around, actually. Makes a nice tech demo, though you'd hope it was more versatile than the barebones interface they've got there. Wonder if it's a full-featured skinning engine or just a closed prototype front-end.
