Sound question

If i configure my audio output device to: "default" and my passthrough output device to "iec958" I cant get bit-perfect sound. If i configure my audio output device to "ice958" I get bitperfect sound.

But here comes the question: I want my movies to output the sound to analog (tv) and my music to output digital (reciever), is there anyway I could get this to work automatically? So i don't have to switch audio output device whenever I want to watch a movie, or play a song?
Perhaps in advancedsettings.xml or something?

A python script could probably do it, but man, I don't know where to begin with that one.

Not currently supported, however it´s something some of the team members have wanted aswell. But I´d say search trac and if you can´t find anything like it please add a ticket for a feature request about it so we won´t forget.

Cheers,
Tobias
