Media Info Plus - Manage your Movies, Shows, Tunes, NFO and more (Open Source VB.NET)

Is there really not an alternative to MIP? It is SO slow!!!
I'm using Ember for Movies, which works great, I like to add the covers etc. manually, but not for series. I don't want to choose which picture etc. I want, that's what MIP is doing well.

But - It's to slow.

Alternative?

I just recently started using XBMC again after 2 years. I have the new MIP and I was wondering...

XBMC scanned its own files in and I remember this happening when I used it before. They use to be located in xbmc...UserData/Thumbnails but I do not see that now in Eden. Can you please tell me how to clear my XBMC downloaded files so that it can read my MIP files?

Also it says that it cannot read my ATHF files as well as my Im With Busey files

Not ungrateful, I just can't manage to get it working!

I use Ember for my movies, but it's too much of a hassle adding one episode at a time for TV-shows.

Atm MIP doesn't work at all. The CMD-windows never pop up, it's just locked.
And I couldn't understand anything in UMM, couldn't find any documentation. UMM is like MIP V2.0?

It doesn't seem to work at all with TheTVDB? It crashes when loading shows.

I have been using Media Info Plus. Its a great program. But as of 10-20-2012 it stopped working, App opens Ok, but when trying to update movies or tv, it goes to "not responding". I removed the last windows updates (windows 7- 32 bit - pro). Even removed app, deleted program folder and reinstalled. No change. This is a great program and thanks to all who worked on it. Dont want to try any others. Any ideas?

I tried (only since yesterday), MediaElch, and it looks very promising, and its developer seems to be very active.
