Question  Full Shutdown of XMBC on ATV Post: #1
Hi,

Is it at all possible to have the XBMC "shutdown" actually shutdown the whole ATV, so you don't have to 'double menu' out of the ATV to turn it off?

thanks
Monty

The AppleTV cannot "shutdown" like the typical computer. The internal power supply is not controllable.

Thanks for the reply.

So can you make the xbmc activate the ATV "suspend" function?

Thanks

possible, but the AppleTV suspend does not really do anything that matters. The energy usage is that same as measured by my kill-a-watt.
