Hi,
I installed the 8.10 version to my harddisk
of a DELL Optiplex SX280 system,
which has an onboard Intel 910 graphics card and
after booting from the harddisk it does not display anything,
soit probably has loaded the wrong graphics driver...

When I started the 8.10 version from the CD and
chose Intel driver, it works very nicely...
So how can I install it to Harddisk, so that it
alsoo uses then the Intel driver ?

Can you pls create a bootable flash disk and try from that?

I made a bootable USB stick version from it and it works too,
but how can I get the harddisk installation to work ?

How can I log onto the disk and change the graphics driver ?

Hi the same thing with me but fixed it.

First get a linux live cd eny
Run live

Once in the desktop look for a hdd named XBMCLive open disk
Then look for file named syslinux.cfg doble click to open then click Display one open look for # intel wich is label 3 read down more and change the number afther (default) to 3 save reboot and the xbmc sould login on its own.

the new beta uses grub as bootloader; the config file is \boot\grub\menu.lst.

to
