[bug report] J2ME client not able to send key pressed through BT
#1
Created a ticket on tract #6123.

Basically, the jar build from ant against Sun Java Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2 on the Ubuntu 8.10 has no problem making connection to a local PC running the j2me_remote.py script.

The problem is that the java program (on the mobile) does not send any key pressed after sitting in the "MainScreen". I tried hcidump and no bt package were captured during the key press.

I tested the jar with Nokia 6300 and N80, both have the same problem.

The java program either failed to grasp the input or failed to send it out.

Could some one (topfs2?) have a look at it. It will be very interesting if it's working, as I will have couple of very handy remotes at my disposal.

Well it looks like the app doesn't work proper on Nokia cellphones, unfortunately I don't have Nokia and can't reproduce it on my Sony Ericsson.

Cheers,
Tobias
