Hi there!
I'm trying to get my IR to work with XBMC.
I tried EventGhost, wich seems to be a very powerfull solution.
But WinLirc isn't working with me. So I can't use it.
IgorPlug works veeery nice. But EG doesn't has support for it.
So I'm stuck with Girder.
There isn't any XBMC plugin for Girder. So numbers aren't working with multitap and I'm limited to keyboard shortcuts.

Is there is any plugin for Girder?
Or any way to use multitap with keyboard? I tried editing keymap.xml and also mapping numbers to F1~F10 and still not working.

I just installed Girder for my home automation and am considering moving my remote control from EG to Girder. I have not tried it yet.

I've posted on the Girder forum to see if anyone has an XBMC plug-in since several people there use XBMC. I'm awaiting a response.

If you find an XBMC plug-in let me know. Also, I think the MS Media Center plugin may work for XBMC, at least in part. Try it and let me know.

I think it won't work for me.. My IR receiver is homemade and it plugs into serial port. So I need a program that reads it everytime, like IgorPlug does with Girder. And AFAIK MCE receiver installs as a HID device.
