NumberPad used as a remote
#1
Hello everyone. Following Stanislav Khromov's example I started using a Logitech Cordless NumberPad as a remote control for my dual-purpose PC (in another room, with Samsung LE40A656 set as dual display). Because the PC is in another room there was little option but to use a radio-controlled remote.

Anyway, I was wondering if there are any more of us using this solution. What key mappings do you use? I'm not entirely happy with mine, as I only mapped arrow keys, enter and back buttons. Any better ideas?
Cheers

Just to keep you updated should anyone google this thread, I successfully extended the range of the Numpad by means of a simple USB extension cord. Works nice. It still doesn't work as nicely as a Wi-Fi remote would, but still it works pretty well in my apartment.
Cheers
