niiiiiiice scrapper xD
keep it up !
p.s: i guess ill be staying with comical since no other comic viewer out there is so fast and offers such insane image quality thanks to its
lanczos 3 image filter that it got , xD
thou i would enjoy some different page transition effects to give it abit more pizzaz
it is open source afterall , anybody interested in adding some page transition effects to it?
or even perhaps use the inbuilt xbmc image viewer and give that the ability to select image filters such as lanczos 3 and page transition effects

Wow I wasn't expecting to ever see this thread again.. It was a fun learning experience back when I was messing around with this.. At first I just wanted a section for my comics and as I learned more about how it all worked, started changing everything else in the skin.. I eventually switched over to using a launcher plugin to open up comicrack..
These days I read my comics on tablets and I love it.. So I'm back to editing programs to my taste, but I'm messing around with Ipad and Android programs.. I was using an Ipad and just recently got the Asus Transformer to take over..
ComicRack is the coolest thing to ever happen to eComics.. The comic vine scraper works great and they have so many different plugins to rename, resize, and reorganize.. They also have plugins to transfers new comics as you get them to your tablet..
It's nice to see other comic lovers around here.. There weren't too many of us back when I was messing with this..

I read comics about 75% of the time on an iPad and 25% using XBMC or ComicRack on my HDTV. XBMC, unsurprisingly has a much slicker and more pleasant way of browsing through comics and since I have my entire collection on my HTPC, it's an awesome visual catalog.
What I'm wishing for someday? A way to browse comics and flip through them in an interface like XBMC, then mark them with a single keystroke for sync, and then sync them wirelessly to my iPad. Or even better... custom playlists with reading orders, using ComicRack data about crossover events and tie-ins. How sweet would that be?

1 word: WOW!
Will this come to Dharma? Or does this need something from Eden build to work?

it's looking fantastic Big_Noid.. now if you want to be what I'd consider truly sick is if the system is able to track a file as "watched", have "unwatched" comics show as the raw cover image and have "watched" comics bagged and boarded via overlay. I don't know if it's possible but it would take my current wow factor at what you've done to a completely different level. =)

I can add a default action button to the comics section so that you can add a favorite to it, while still have the choice to use internal viewer.
