"Delete File" Removes Video but leaves NFO, Thumbnail and Fanart behind
#1
Question
Anyone have a tip on removing "orphaned" .nfo, fanart, and thumbnail files?

I'm a little low on diskspace so I always delete TV episodes/Movies from within XBMC after I watch them. This deletes the .mkv/.avi/etc video file, but leaves behind the corresponding .nfo and .tbn files.

I've tried the "Clean Library" command but that doesn't seem to do anything to help get rid of the NFO files that no longer have a video to go along with them.

Is there an easier way of doing things that I might not know about? I'm basically just looking for an easy way to delete all traces of a movie or tv episode from my hard drive once I've watched it.

Removal of cached versions of fanart + thumbs should be doable I guess.

Removal of any local fanart + thumbs is non-trivial unless we know that a movie was all there was in the folder (whereby we could delete the folder).
