XBMC hangs when pausing
#1
Hi all!

I'm a first time user that recently decided to try and build myself a mediacenter.
XBMC starts just fine and runs great until I pause while playing a video. It has about a 90% chance of hanging the entire program.
Seeking seems to work fine though.

I've tried running both the 8.10 version and the 9.04 alpha version of XBMC.
I'm using an old HP d530 computer with:
P4 2.8ghz with hyperthreading.
512mb RAM
ATI HD3450 (AGP) graphics card using Catalyst 9.4.
Running on Win XP Professional SP3.

log found here

Did I miss anything?
Any and all help appreciated!

I forgot to mention that everytime it hangs/freezes I get a message from the VPU Recover function in Catalyst Control Center saying that my display driver has been reset.

Maybe try the 9.3 driver?

I haven't tried the 9.3 version of Catalyst but I tried earlier versions. Same problem.

I have noticed a new symptom though. It also freezes when I bring up the right click context menu, and sometimes in the add source window.
