Hi all,

Seeing as though my ATV is bloody useless at playing HD movies without first reencoding them into a format for iTunes (and therefore disabling 5.1 surround on my Mac Pro) I need a new use for it.

My plan now is to either buy a Mac Mini to use as an XBMC box under my TV, or buy a new Mac Pro and use this one as my XBMC box (behind the TV lol).

So I need a new use for my ATV, any suggestions?

Do you have another TV? I connected my AppleTV to the TV in my kitchen to stream videos while I eat breakfast or a midnight snack.

Of course, I have XBMC installed on that ATV. ;-)
