Care to provide a debug log (http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Log_file), maybe some details on which videos don't play? Tried a couple entries from "All" section (Quicktime, SD) and they worked fine...

I think I have a similar problem as Wormboy does. In the screw attack section The files say they are opening but nothing ever loads. After a certain date all the videos play perfectly fine. This has been a problem for about a month or so at least for me it is.

From the log it would seem the call to getmediainfo4.php sometimes may return unexpected content, maybe the server is too busy - the thing is I never seen this before. I guess the only thing that I can do is to print the contents when it craps out and wait to happen again, will think about that. Btw, you can choose from the plugin settings other video formats like QuickTime or WMV, might look better than the Flash video.

Update: I changed the settings to WMV instead of flash and now the most recent videos play again. Just thought i would give you on a update to that screwy bug there.

Hi, I am a new to this xbmc stuff on xbox, I have downloaded the xbmc installer from this site http://www.aideluxe.com/index.php?title=Downloads, but all everytime I try to run any content from gametrailers hd I get the python script error.

I have been reading for awhile and haven't found a solution nor I would know how to fix it, since it is on running on the xbox not on windows, does anybody know how to fix this?

Sorry my good man, but this is the support thread for GameTrailers plugin, not GameTrailersHD... If you want to fix GameTrailersHD yourself, it should pretty much run the same on Windows as it does on Xbox. Look at xbmc.log for more details on the error...

I see, but if I want to install the GamesTrailers Plugin on my xbox, what should I do? (I have download the file from the first post)

I would recommend you to get XBMC Zone Installer (my signature) or SVN Repo Installer and extract them in XBMC\plugins\programs (http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=HOW-TO_insta...ng_plugins), then enable the Programs menu entry in your skin (usually Settings > Skin Settings).

Both should be pretty easy to navigate (in SVN Repo choose my repository) - not only that you will be able to install GameTrailers, but a lot of other plugins and scripts.

I installed the XBMC ZONE installer as you advice, gametrailer loads up, but when I try any of the videos, they just show me the time, and then does nothing.
The rest of pluggins are working fine, gamespot and eurogamer are awesome

You might be playing the default video format (FLV), try changing the plugin properties and switch to Quicktime or WMV (http://code.google.com/p/dandar3-xbmc-ad...meTrailers).

Is it possible to run this as a script so you get a nicer interface? I now have the dull file list when I choose gametrailers...

The list is as dull as the skin you are using :-) Pick a new one from http://www.xbmcsvn.com, I would recommend maybe Rapier or Ellipsis.

Change from a plugin into a script? Sorry, won't do that, but feel free to take parts of my code and start one yourself and customize the heck out of it :-)

I just hope you know how to change the view mode and you're not looking at the list mode with tiny icons :-)
