which remotes do you all use?

Maybe a bluetooth device, like the diNovo Mini, would work from that distance. My place isn't big enough, so I can't test for you Smile

would any of the harmony brand work?? or the MCE remotes??

I have the Pioneer 8G Kuro9 (42') is there any way i can use that remote control for xbmc and still use it for the TV.

Harmony works perfect, use it for all my devices.
MCE Works also.

Don't know if you can use your TV remote.
Maybe with lirc, I never used it, still using xbox Big Grin And set my harmony as xbox extender remote.

yes you need an usb IR for most remotes.
Like many others you can also use the original Xbox remote (DVD playback kit) and connect the IR dongle to Asrock usb with an adapter. Someone wrote up a great how to on this.
