Hello,
I have just set up my HTPC with a new nVidia 9400. I've installed Ubuntu 9.04, then NVIDIA-Linux-x86-185.19-pkg1.run and then XBMC via PPA. In XBMC I've activated "adjust refreshrate" but it doesn't change. I've opened nVidia Settings and selected 24Hz but I don't get 24Hz. Does anyone have an idea why's that?
And by the way, how can I see the CPU load to test if VDPAU is working?

Glad it's working now. For future reference, though, you need to enable debug logging (level 2) in your advancedsettings.xml. Do a search if you're not familiar with the file.
