Some trouble here, getting info from IMDB and remote problems.

First off, my setup has worked perfectly. But a couple of days ago, XBMC got problems downloading movie information from IMDB, it start with suggesting 3 different movies, I pick the one that is correct and it starts getting movie information, but nothing happens. It stayed like that for 10 minutes on one movie, then I tried cancel but it wouldn't cancel so I had to kill the xbmc process. I did eveything again, same thing. So I enabled debugging, but no log came either. Tried search for 'xbmc.log', couldnt find it anywhere. Now has suddenly my remote(harmony) stopped working too, same with my logitech dinovo edge keyboard. So I had to connect a usb mouse and keyboard.

All this is on a windows xp system, xbmc 8.10 and I use IR remote server for the harmony remote.

And the thing is that it has worked perfectly for a long time now, and suddenly all this crap happens. Any ideas?

you can update XBMC and your database won´t get touched.

For your IR problems: read the forums! there are a dozen threads dealing with problems like that. you could also try eventghost (there you can see nicely what button you pressed / which action was taken).
