Now Aeon is using 16x9 posters and there's going to be support for them on TVdb it would be very useful if XBMC had support for more thumbs added to the userdata folder for quick and easy access.

Well I suppose I should support this, seeing as I was the one that sparked the thread on thetvdb
![]() I really hope this gets implemented, the way djh has used multiple thumbs only opens up possibilities for other skinners. Hitcher: I think we need some photos/a more detailed description for this to get support. If i had just read your post, I wouldn't really understand. I'll try and get some posted later unless someone beats me to it. --FF

What I had in mind was the ability to add as many extra images as you wanted and have XBMC scan them to the USERDATA folder for easy access for skins.
ie folder1.jpg (could be standard 16x9 image) folder2.jpg (could be standard square image) folder3.jpg (could be standard wide banner image) folder4.jpg (could be any type of image ie the screenshots used in Aeon) XBMC would pick them all up and store them as thumbs for the skin to use labeled as thumb1.tbn, thumb2.tbn, etc. ![]()

Kinda along the same lines, but abit different, think of it from the external side of things and the current scrapers but for movies.
movie.tbn (current one, poster) movie-hd.tbn (hd version of poster) movie-wide.tbn (widescreen 16x9) movie-square.tbn (500x500 square image) movie-banner.tbn (banner) where to get them using current scrapers (with slight changes no doubt) movie.tbn - 500px × 751px - <poster size="cover"> from themoviedb movie-hd.tbn - former movie.tbn - 1000x1500<poster size="original"> from the moviedb movie-wide.tbn - 780px × 439px - <backdrop size="mid"> from themoviedb new scraper would prob be needed for mediaicons.org movie-square.tbn (500x500 square image) - mediaicons.org movie-banner.tbn (from mediaicons.org) - mediaicons.org of course MIP can also generate and resize to these as well. ![]() XBMC Flicks - Netflix for XBMC http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=87552 XBMC Guide for adding Movies/Media Universal Media Manager - http://universalmc.sourceforge.net/ Media Info Plus -(old product) http://sourceforge.net/projects/movieinfoplus/
