Is it possible to configure keyboard shortcuts to change views on the fly without have to go to the menu?

If not, I think this would be a great addition to AEON's functionality.

It's possible, and I have my Harmony configured to do just that - but Aeon doesn't always behave predictably when doing so, ending up in some weird mixed views like Movies with TV Shows fanart in the background, etc.

Aeon will malfunction if you do this and there's no way of fixing it without a bump in CPU usage and some quite extensive code changes. Even then, I can't guarantee some other issues won't crop up. It's not a feature Aeon officially supports but someone's obviously free to mod it and see what happens. You'd need to strip out every conditional include and rewrite every visibility condition that uses the "videotv" and "videomovies" settings - not a small job. You'd need to change them to use every Container.Content setting applicable to the TV and Movie views where appropriate.
