Trouble scraping TV Episodes
#1
Okay, so I'm feeling pretty stupid here. I've been using XBMC for several years now. I have it running on my Xbox, Windows machine, and now on Ubuntu 9.04

I have the episode scraping working just fine for the Xbox and Windows. I copied my advancedsettings.xml files directly from the Xbox so I know it works. I placed it in ~/.xbmc/userdata but that didn't work. I also tried placing it in /usr/share/xbmc/userdata. So far I can only scan the shows and not get episode information. This is very frustrating since I thought at this point I knew how the program worked!

Anyway here is a link to my debug log. http://pastebin.com/ma46aaa8

Any help would be appreciated.

I think there is an option to scan based on the name of the folder - you might want to try that.

you have set the content on the wrong folder.

if you want to set the content on the 'alf' folder to tvshows, you have to tick 'this folder contains a single tvshow'
