Yesterday I installed the MediaStream skin, and it crashed my xbox (1.0). I uploaded the skin to the skins folder and selected it, and now my xbox is stuck with a "please wait" message every time I try to start it up. I can't reach it via ftp or anything.
Any ideas on how to solve this would be extremely appreciated!

You'll have to boot of a CD with AutoInstaller Deluxe (or similar) to get ftp acess and delete the MediaStream Folder.

Thanks a lot for the tips on AutoInstaller Deluxe. I thought I would have to do something like that, but was a little puzzled that the mediastream skin just killed everything. (What's up with that?)
Anyway, booting off the AID and deleting the mediastream folder worked perfectly, and everything's back to normal. Thanks a lot xbs08! |

Your welcome.
![]() Try paul's MediaStream_Lite V2.0, it's basiclly a lite texture mod especially for the xbox that consumes less ram than the official MediaStream. I'm using it and works very well. Also try lowering your cache settings.
