Great stuff!, I've been long awaiting some Echo/Alexa and Kodi stuff and trying to come up with my own solution. I guess the biggest thing for me would be figuring out how to get Alexa to control playback. I've gotten my Kodi installs to be voice controlled to my phone through the Yatse API and I've played with JSON data but don't know enough about it.

With JSON can you program the Echo to control playback similar to the functionality of the Yatse API and voice commands?
