Defining the source
#1
I'm currently in the process in setting up my movie library to take advantage of all of what Aeon offers.

My question is what is considered to be the source? Is it the the DVD or Blu-ray in which I ripped it from or is it the file that I convert it to (i.e. Divx or .m4v)?

Thanks

You have a few options.

You can have it show as the literal source (ie. dvd, bluray, etc.) or you can have it show the codec the movie is compressed as. (ie. x264, divx, xvid)

If you want it to show the literal source you will need edit each movies filename.

If you want it to show the codec you can use the current studio flag work around.

Please remember the current solutions are temporary so keep that in mind when you start organizing. Please read the FAQs and threads on the topic.
