having problems installing video plugins

ok i've been trying to figure this out without having to bother someone on the forum ,but i've given up.

So i've read through the tutorials and watched the video ,but when i go to add source then browse then video plugins i only see the apple trailers plugin.

i've added the plugins into c:\program files\xbmc\plugins\video

did i add them into wrong folder? is there some misstep i took?

sorry for the noob question. any help would be appreciated

You added them to the wrong folder.

Plugins are your data - they thus go in XBMC's application support folder (C:\Documents and Settings\<xplogin>\Application Support\XBMC).

The SVN repo installer installs there for you.

On which platform are you?
Windows? It it is the case try to install you plugin in:
C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Application Data\XBMC\plugins\video instead
